2024 Annual General Meeting

As a member of HMECU, you own a brick in the building. This means you are a shareholder and have the right to attend the Annual General Meeting, vote on who will represent you on the Board of Directors, see what your credit union has been doing over the past year, see our financial performances, and learn what is to come in the years ahead. We want to know what is important to you.  

Come out and tell us what we can do to make your credit union even better. Exercise your right to vote as a member and owner of HMECU!

Notice of the 89th Annual General Meeting  

Notice is hereby given that the 89th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Healthcare and Municipal Employees’ Credit Union Limited will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 beginning at 6:30 pm at Michelangelo Events & Conference Centre and via electronic means. Click here to view the full notice. 

HMECU members are encouraged to exercise their democratic rights as a member/owner to vote in Board elections, special resolutions, and to attend the Annual General Meeting. 
 

Annual General Meeting Key Dates: 

  • March 11 - Online registration and voting begins (paper information packages and voting ballots will be available if required) 
  • March 27 - Registration deadline is 5:00pm 
  • March 29 - Voting deadline (both online and paper ballots) is 5:00pm 
  • April 10 - Annual General Meeting (6:00 pm registration; 6:30 pm meeting start)
